As tradition dictates, the Volkswagen Off-road Experience season kicked off on July 20 at the Ilyinskoye complex. This time, journalists were greeted by a new, exciting track where media representatives could see and feel the full power of the updated Tiguan, presented in Russia for the first time. Despite the summer holiday season, Eventum Premo’s PR department helped Volkswagen organize a test drive of the Tiguan and its “big brother,” the Touareg, for 49 journalists from 34 media outlets.
This time, four social media representatives also joined the Volkswagen Off-road Experience: Kirill Samursky, Artyom Shurgalsky, Anton Ukhanov, and Darya Panfilova. From early morning, the test-drive participants split into two groups and embarked on a real adventure across the Volkswagen Off-road Experience tracks. This year, however, the journalists had a surprise: at the proving ground, they could try the new Tiguan not only on the familiar track but also in motion on a small asphalt section on the way to the quarry. There, the journalists faced descents and climbs — everything that takes your breath away and tests your nerves. After the test drive, tradition dictated souvenirs and certificates for completing the “Off-Road Driving Basics” course. On that sunny summer day, not a single journalist left without a smile or the attention of our PR team at Eventum Premo.
