A very lively and interesting conference of the Mirax company took place on November 6 on the 29th floor of the Swiss Hotel “Red Hills”. The conference had the character of a casual, friendly conversation. The problems identified by the speakers created a foundation for the future. There should be more such events. The conference was attended by: head of the Mirax Group design workshop Leonid Glebko, head of the personal architectural and design workshop Andrey Chernikhov, head of the personal creative workshop architect Mikhail Khazanov, head of the nps tchoban voss workshop Sergey Choban and head of the personal creative workshop “Sergey Kiselev and Partners” Sergey Kiselev. The speakers discussed several current topics. Leonid Glebko told those present about his vision of the peculiarities of the work of design departments in the structure of large holdings. He believes that as experience is gained, such structures become indispensable for solving almost all types of design problems. Andrey Chernikhov touched upon the issues of Russian legislation in the field of copyright, explaining with this the main problems of the work of independent architectural bureaus in Russia. Sergey Kiselev managed to structure all possible forms of interaction between architects, clients and contractors. And Mikhail Khazanov and Sergey Choban, using their own examples, spoke about the pros and cons of cooperation with developers. All participants emphasized the importance of mutual understanding between the client and the architect, since not only the fate of the buildings, but also the appearance of the city as a whole largely depends on this. As a result of the meeting, which grew into a friendly buffet, the speakers came to a consensus that at the stage of the birth of a creative idea and the creation of sketches of a future project, it makes sense to use the forces of third-party creative workshops, while the processes of creating design and especially working documentation are more appropriate to be carried out by our own design departments.
