The role of a manager is precisely this – to make decisions on time. It would be nice if wise and thoughtful decisions are made, but this is not always possible. It's okay, it's a matter of experience and luck. It doesn't matter whether you are right or wrong, what matters is that you decide and you act.
When all the information is available, anyone smart enough can make a decision. But usually, by the time everything becomes clear, it is already too late. An imperfect decision made on time is better than an ideal one made late. A leader must be partly an adventurer. Some of the decisions I make have very strange motives, to be honest, almost “heads/tails”. But from the outside it is not noticeable. But this allows you to get out of the stalemate when everyone is waiting for something to happen. And this happens - some decision is made.
The beauty of making a decision is that it encourages action rather than expectation. It’s better to do it and regret it than to regret not doing it. Failure to act is a mistake in most cases. The ability to make decisions, even if sometimes to make mistakes, is the ability to move on yourself and cause the actions of others. This is the key sign of a leader, an entrepreneur. This is a rather rare skill, which is why it is so valued by society.
