On June 26, MTS, the largest cellular operator in Russia and the CIS countries, the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation and Universal Pictures Rus summed up the results and awarded the winners of the second international Mobile Film Festival (FMF). The Mobile Film Festival is a competition for films no longer than five minutes long, shot using a mobile phone or video camera. This year, the FMK award ceremony was included in the program of the 31st Moscow International Film Festival. Eventum Premo provided support in organizing the event.
The responsibility of the Eventum Premo agency staff included the technical organization of the event, as well as the solution of some creative tasks: decorating the site in accordance with the main concept of the event, creating award statuettes and diplomas, and developing a script for the award ceremony.
The award ceremony took place at the Next Door restaurant and attracted about 200 participants. In addition to valuable prizes, the winners of the Mobile Film Festival received a unique opportunity to communicate with professionals from the world of cinema. The winners were personally awarded by the President of the Moscow International Film Festival, Nikita Mikhalkov.
The winners of the Mobile Film Festival 2009 were:
- In the nomination “Best Film” - the film “Faster than a Train”, author Konstantin Konovalov;
- In the nomination “For the best creative idea” - the film “Penovechka”, author Igor Tatarnikov;
- In the nomination “For Best Performance of a Male Role” - the film “Truck Driver”, Kirill Vertyaev;
- In the nomination “For the best performance of a female role” - the film “Kidnappers”, Kirill Vertyaev.
A special prize from UniversalPicturesRus – a trip to Hollywood – was awarded to the film “Fast and Furious 5. Revenge”, authors Svetlana Veretyokha, Maxim Verkhov (Ukraine).
The Audience Award of the Mobile Film Festival 2009 went to the film “No, it’s better to have a summer wedding,” written by Evgeniy Boyarchenkov.
