Once, during an interview, I was asked why I, the owner of a successful company, go to work every day? I laughed it off, but thought about it.
What is the feeling that makes me get up every morning and go to the office? This feeling is definitely not greed. So what?
Pretty soon I understood. I just love being around these people. Because they are true modern heroes. Selfless, brave, smart. They have this internal spring. It is this desire to be among the heroes that makes you yearn for office routine during vacations or long holidays.
These are fighters against the chaos of an imperfect world who manage to bring balance and harmony into it. Create a fairy tale for strangers for a few hours. They keep a million promises in their heads. They keep the delans in a world where no one keeps them. They know the corporate values of dozens of corporations and must follow these standards, not forgetting that they must be faster, more committed, better than everyone else around them.
These are the heroes who, in a tiny office, come up with Big Dreams for huge companies. They operate with gigantic sums, receiving modest salaries. They lend to banks and global FMCG concerns. They sit in their offices on Friday evenings to meet deadlines. Because the main thing is the result, and no one is interested in the price. They remain calm in any situation and constantly perform miracles that you don't even know about.
Think about it. They are. There are these invisible heroes behind every event you do. Modest people in black T-shirts, with walkie-talkies, sober and collected at any holiday. These are fragile girls who prove through their work that they are stronger than hot steel. These are young businessmen who are graying early. They may smile at you or be serious, but they are always focused to solve any problem you have. You don’t notice them in the spotlight because you only see the “stars” on stage. But they exist. Their place is in the control room, their place is behind the stage, where their own invisible life, their tragedies and triumphs are seething. They swallow red bull with sedatives. They sleep side by side after two days of installation. Their victory cry sounds on an already empty site, where there is neither beauty nor chaos left.
It is their work that gives you unforgettable moments in life. This is the event business. These are event managers.
I want to thank these Heroes. Thank you for being here, guys. I'm proud to be among you. And as I congratulate you on the New Year, I know what all these new years are worth to you.
