6 Rules for a Perfect Event

Alexander Shumovich, director of Eventum Premo and curator of the summer intensive at Britanka, told how to organize the perfect event. Look at the event through the eyes of the client Read the announcement of the event as if you know nothing about it. Walk the entire venue from the parking lot to the main hall to appreciate the ease of navigation. Sit down at the table and look at the main stage. The gaze of the person sitting at the far table usually does not look like renders, and you will still have a chance to improve the impression of the event. Be constant Do not look for casual connections. Choose your partner thoughtfully and be with them as much as circumstances allow. The history of relationships is very important for understanding between customers, agencies, and contractors. Thanks to repeated experience, you can gradually achieve better results that would be the envy of competitors. Rehearsals really help Just rehearse. Each rehearsal of the performance improves it by 40-50%, you feel more confident, correct mistakes. Event rehearsal allows different teams to work together, establish communication channels and synchronize their actions. Unlike, for example, the theater, event organizers usually show the result of their work only once. So it is dangerous to neglect even one rehearsal. Do not try to embrace the immensity An event for organizers is an opportunity to realize professional dreams and ambitions that prompted people to choose this particular profession. But human attention is finite, and too intensive an event program can be tiring. Do not overload the program, leave enough time for communication and breaks between numbers. Less impromptu that takes up time, reduce the duration of formal performances, and your participants will like the event more. Gifts People love gifts, and there is nothing you can do about it. Whatever the wealth of your guests, they will still appreciate that there were free treats and alcohol, beautiful flash drives or branded souvenirs, maybe free parking or transfer. According to the results of numerous studies, the opportunity to get something "just like that" is a powerful motivating factor. Stay up to date Knowing what is popular now is just the responsibility of event organizers. The ability to include an ultra-trendy, trendy element in the upcoming event is what is valued in the profession of an event manager. And here it is important not to miss the moment. Making a Mannequin challenge at a conference in November-December is cool, but dancing "The Ice Is Melting Between Us" in July is already funny.
