<p>I have been organizing events since 1995. This is a huge cloud of time. And I must say that now life has become much better. Can you imagine what it is like to prepare an event when no one has mobile phones? Those who remember will shudder. But there are some things I miss. I hope they will appear soon and I will say a heartfelt thank you to those who will arrange it.</p>
<p><strong>1. Event</strong> Mention Aggregator<br />
<span>I dream of a system that will track publications about the event on social networks. So that you can read what the people of this hall are posting, what photos they are posting. Searching by tags is very tedious. I would like to know what people 100 meters around me are posting. </span></p>
<p><span><strong>2. A speaker bureau with a wide scope. </strong><br />There are people who can speak well or just well, and they speak at conferences and presentations. I want to find such people. And so that they do not cost tens of thousands of dollars, do not live in New Zealand, but are just smart people from our or a neighboring city. So that they can talk about urban planning or sales for non-salespeople. They exist. But it is still unrealistic to find them. Unless you personally know someone yourself. </span></p>
<p><span><strong>3. Cooperation of agencies, joint training. </strong><br />The heart bleeds when the beautiful stage structures, which have been mounted for several days, are blown to pieces with sledgehammers. In order to have time to hand over the premises to those who will build the stage again, to hurry up and pay for the speed of installation. It would be cool to be able to pass the structures and stages of the halls to each other. If only there was a platform where you could find out about this in advance. Like "hot tickets". </span></p>
<p><span><strong>4. Forecast of winning tenders. </strong><br />There are tenders that can be won and there are tenders that cannot be won [by anyone except one company]. It would be cool to know in advance what is not worth wasting time on, and where there is every chance. I would pay a small amount to an analytical agency that would monitor the history of tenders in my profile and give me a forecast, in the form of a certain probability that the tender can be won. So that there is some scoring and user ratings. Now I have to do it myself, with a small reach. </span></p>
<p><span><strong>5. Hall booking system</strong><br />For hotels, this was invented. Booking.com, Hotels.com and many different platforms - you enter the date, city, number of rooms, look on the map where the hotel is located, what is free and what is occupied. I can book hotels for a hundred or two dollars, but I can't find halls for which I am ready to pay much more! I need venues for events with a link to a map, so that I can find out online if they are available for my date (and not look for their managers) so that I can make a reservation.</span></p>
