On October, 27th in Moscow the International conference on oil (МКН) which has been organised by the Department of Energy of the Russian Federation, with Open Society "Зарубежнефть" support has taken place. During conference participants have exchanged opinions on development of world and Russian power in the conditions of postcrisis settlement on sredne - and long-term prospect. In action have taken part more than 200 persons – the foreign and Russian oil companies, representatives of the governments of the different countries, embassies, the analytical companies, the academic institutes, independent funds.

At opening of conference Minister of Energy Sergey Shmatko has acted with a salutatory word on behalf of the vice-president of the Government of the Russian Federation Igor Sechina. Also Sergey Shmatko has given the report on stabilisation and development of the world oil market.
